Ding Ding Ding! It’s site update time!

I don’t like missing comic dates. By golly, I don’t even like delaying comics for longer than a few hours after midnight. Unfortunately, having an actual day job (and other work to do when I get home) precludes me from regarding Salt & Battery as much more than a hobby. I’m also finding the upkeep of a dedicated storyline to be full of interesting challenges, which I may or may not always be able to sort out by press time.

But you don’t care about all that now, do you? You just want to see some sexy artwork! Well, despite my oft-busy schedule, I do still find the time to sneak in a doodle here and there. Rather than force you to wait in crippling agony for updates, I went ahead and created a special “Filler” comic category which I can use to post sketches and such in place of real comics when necessary. In their own category, filler sketches will be kept separate from the other strips so they won’t interfere with your reading, yet ComicPress will still post them to the front page as the most recent “strip”. In the near future, I’ll even put a banner link on the “Start Reading” page so you can look at all the past filler artwork, should you ever want to.

In a perfect world, I would work 40 hours to produce awesome comics thrice weekly (like this long-time fave of mine: Errant Story). But it’s not a perfect world, and I’ve got things to do, man… Things to DO!
